Getting started
Carefully separate the SIM card chip from the larger holder.
Insert the card into your telephone as shown in the phone user manual.
Switch on the telephone and enter the PIN code received with the SIM card.
When the phone registers itself with an available network (takes between 30 seconds and 2 minutes), it's ready for use.
Making calls
Enter the number you want to call (always with "+" and country code) or choose the number from the telephone address book and press "Send".
You will be disconnected and your phone will say: "Please wait".
Wait for the call back (takes between 10 and 30 sec.) and answer normally.
Your call will now be connected. If you cannot make calls this way, please try "Menu based calling"
Menu based calling Some phones require you to call using the phone-menu.
Proceed as follows:
Choose the menu option "Call/Anrufen" (main menu or under "Extras") .
Select "Dial/wählen".
"Enter number" and call as described above.
Emergency services Dial the appropriate emergency service number services for the country you are in and press the "Send" button.
Receiving calls Answer the call normally.
Text messages (SMS)
Follow the instructions in the user manual of your phone to send and receive text messages. If your phone displays "Message not sent", either the destination number cannot be reached or your calling credit is low.
Checking your call credit Call "089" and listen to the message.
Adding call credit
Buy a Riiing Value card.
Call "088" and enter the code found under the scratch area of the Value card when prompted.
Voice mail
Call "077" to listen to messages received. Follow the voice instructions to change your voice mail settings.
Diverting/redirecting calls
Call "066" and follow the instructions.
Changing language
Check your phone user manual on how to change the language setting of your phone. Usually found under "Phone settings"- menu -"Language".
Dial "055" to select a different language for your voice prompts.
